Is a 50 some year old piece of rare red coral illegal to sell?
I got these pieces of red coral when I was a kid for necklaces and at that time they were already 20 some years since they were harvested. Now there is a ban on selling red coral, I think, because it is so rare. Since they were obtained when it was not illegal to have them, is it still illegal to sell them?
You need to have clear proof that you had them before the law changed (which actually was quite some time ago). Your 'personal guarantee' means nothing.
