dream about hijab islam?
assalam alaikum i keep having dreams where i am out and about without my hijab i dont notice it at first but then i do and get upset and i rush back to get it
any ideas what it could mean ive had it for the past few weeks now
i am a full time hijabi
For a muslim, before sleeping should read Quran, and Tasbih, and be clean ( Shower, Wudu...), also not all the dreams you see can be explained, because of a lot of criteria, i think you worry about Hijab, but you shouldn't cause Allah will help you on this issue.

Muslim Abaya
Is wearing Hijab ,Niqab or even abaya too much?
For those of you who don't know what hi jab is its the head(scarf) covering for Muslim women
Niqab=All covered with veil.
Abaya= Long Islamic Dress.
Hi Minnah,
I am a Christian and I too believe a woman should cover decently, and if you are doing this for God and faith and you chose it, not that your parents or your Imam just told you to do it and you did - then I think it is perfectly within your right to wear a hijab proudly.
Ultimately, it is what you believe in and not what others think about you. This is your relationship with God and you believe in all honest to goodness that God has commanded you and womenkind to wear the hjiab, well, what is stopping you from wearing one and spreading the word to encourage women to wear it?
However, with niqab I am a little conflicted, because I did remember reading that your Prophet commanded his wives to cover their faces and hide behind curtains because outsiders were coming in and out and he did not like it.
However, with Asma, he said, "When a woman has reached puberty she should only show here and here", pointing to hands and face.
Hence I feel niqab is not compulsory but if a woman so wishes she can wear it, but it is not compulsory.
Another supporting statement is that when a Muslim prays to God she must uncover her face to God. Why must she cover to man, and not to God?
Man is not greater than God!

Amira Hijab
Do you have to take off hijab when doing wudu for prayer?
assalam alaikum.
i was just curious about this because i see how women spend a lot of time wrapping their hijabs in the morning, but then when we have to pray five times day, she unwraps and re-wraps it when wudu...or do women even do this?
to me, i think it would be easier to just wear an al-amira hijab....
but, yeah. i was just curious, because i'd think that it would take up a lot of time.
you should study the fiqh you follow, a lot of madhabs allow masah over the hijab
@MuhammadK, ikhrus with your fitna. Yes hijab doesnt refer to head cloth, in the Quran it is referred to بخمر . Stop spreading your fitna

Hijab Scarves
Why do some Christians criticise the hijab when Mary, Mother of Jesus wore the hijab too?
Hijab is the head scarf covering of the head that Muslim women wear and dressing modestly. Even nuns wear the hijab.
Because they find it difficult to absorb the fact that it is the Muslims who truely follow the teachings and traditons of the Torah and the Gospel.
Remember Rebecca? This is what the Bible speaks of her even before she was married to Isaac. ‘And Rebecca lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she alighted from the camel, and said to the servant, “Who is the man yonder, coming to meet us?” The servant said, “It is my Master”. So she took her veil and covered herself’. (Genesis 24 v 64,65)
The famous early Christian theologian, St. Tertullian, in his famous treatise, ‘On The Veiling of Virgins’ wrote, “Young women, you wear your veils out on the streets, so you should wear them in the church; you wear them when you are among strangers, then wear them among your brothers…”
Paul has this to say in 1Corinthians 11v5-6: “… For if a women will not veil herself, then she should cut off her hair; but if it is disgraceful for a women to be shorn or shaven, let her wear a veil.”
Biblical teachings: “Your beauty should not come from outward adornment such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelleries and fine clothes. Instead it should be that of your inner self , the unfading beauty of a quiet and gentle spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight. For this is the way, the holy women of the past, who put their hope in God, used to make themselves beautiful”.(1Peter 3 v 3-5).
According to Rabbi Dr. Menachem M. Brayer, “…it was customary that Jewish women went out in public covering their heads. Some even covered the whole face, leaving only one eye free. He further stated that, “During the Tannaitic period, the Jewish women’s failure to cover her head was considered an affront to her modesty. When her head was uncovered she might be fined four hundred zuzim for this offence.”

Scarf Shayla
Are all leos like this.....?
I'm a scorpio and I'm trying to figure out my new friend who's a leo. she's funny and confident and always joking but I get the feeling there's more to her so I'm looking to astrology to figure out. also, I don't know if she lied to me about her zodiac sign.
her, this muslim girl, and me were walking in the hallway when this fat guy took his book cover off and said "vote for obama! (acting like it was the scarf), then he put it on and was like "it's a bra and obama is giving them free at wal mart". the leo was like "I don't think it's big enough." another time our friend, Shayla was about to get into a fight. shayla's a big girl. the leo put her arms around her waist and was acting like her feet were skidding (trying to make humor out of it). she's really bold.
I know she has leo sun, leo rising, and sag moon.
can you tell me everything you know about leos and some info. on her?
thanks!
I'm a Leo! Here's what I found. Some of it's not true of me, though. I don't forgive easily and i DO hold a grudge. i'm not happy...lol, i'm not stable...LOL! and i'm SURE as hell not lucky! and i do think ill of a lot of people, but they deserve it. LOL! most of it applies. i am kind hearted, and i hate change.
THE Zodiacal Sign of Leo commences on July 21st, but for seven days it does not come into its full power until on or about July 28th. From this date onwards it is in full strength until August 20th and is then for seven days gradually losing its strength on account of becoming overlapped by the "cusp" of the incoming sign Virgo.
The Fire sign in these people is enthusiastic, energetic, and optimistic. Representatives of signs are happy, lucky people. Fixed people are stable. They don't like much change. Status quo suits them fine. They will stick to things and get them done.
People born in this period always aim to get above the common herd of humanity, and they themselves in turn are naturally attracted to strong personalities – in fact, they will forgive any fault in the people they like so long as they have individuality and purpose. They are usually generous, kind, and openhearted, they find it hard to believe ill of others. If injured, they strike back quickly, but they also forgive easily and never hold a grudge. The bright side of Leo is very bright indeed, "sunny side up" they are very much attuned to the life giving properties of our Sun itself. The typical Leo is flamboyant and generous with tremendous charm and a magnanimous spirit.
The Sun is the single most important planet, because it represents a LEO's ego and individuality. It shows their ambitions and deepest character traits, where they have the ability to shine.
Such people represent what might be termed the heartforce of humanity. They are overflowing with sympathy, and are generally generous to a fault.
They are usually lucky in money matters, often having money given to them from unthought-of sources; but they crave love above all, and this is the one thing they seldom get.
Such people have the power to inspire others, and as leaders like Napoleon, born in this Sign. They have an ability to lead their men through fire or death.
People who were born in this period usually have an extremely independent spirit; they detest control or being dictated to. They have great tenacity of purpose and will power and if once they put their mind on some plan, purpose or position, they usually reach their goal in spite of every difficulty or obstacle.
Though full of ambition and enthusiasm, Leo has to admit to a lazy streak and, given the opportunity, will take the easy way out, especially when a situation offers little fun or glory. This is something lazy, luxurious Leo needs to watch.
These people are usually very patient and long-suffering, but if once roused, they know no fear and do not even know when they meet defeat, or acknowledge it when they do.
As a rule, people born in this period feel isolated and lonely in life, and if not actively employed in some work or purpose they become melancholy and despondent.
Leo - The Sign of the Lion
The people of this sign are natural leaders and chiefs. In reality the supervising position is what the majority of people born under the sign of Lion aspires to. They are really intelligent and magnetic people. That fact attracts others, but they should not try to dominate everyone. Lion frequently called "The sign of the kings" according to his intelligence and graceful manners. Their astrological symbol " Lion" is considered to be the king of animals. But, as well as all governors, that people should learn to wear the crown modestly. They should remember their large sin - vanity.
Friends
It isn't always easy to be friends with a these people. They are best in a one-to-one friendship where their ego is less likely to intrude upon the relationship. These people can find their most lasting friendships with people born in their own period or from March 21 to April 19-27 and, strange to say, all those people who were born on the 1st, 10th, 19th, or 28th of any month, for the reason that these numbers accord and have a sympathetic attraction to the number of the Sun which is the number of this period.
Health
People born in this period should have more time to sleep than almost anyone else. They usually overwork their brains, and are inclined to suffer from headache, trouble with the eyes and other things concerned the head. And they are liable to get cuts and wounds in the head, and they usually run danger from fire. Such people usually demand a constant medical attention.
Color
Their most suitable colors are all shades of yellow, orange, pale green, and white.
Stones
The birth stones for this period are topazes, amber, and rubies.
