Do you demand to see evidence that suggests that Jesus was a real person?
A lot of people just refuse to acknowledge that there is evidence out there which suggests that Jesus Christ really did live on Earth some 2000 years ago.
But there is evidence. What evidence, you say? I am so glad you asked:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/eu_italy_shroud_of_turin
If you don't believe that Jesus was truly the son of God, are you at least willing to consider the possibility that he was a real person?
Don't sweat it, there is none....... he made sure you will never find out by destroying it himself.
I'm serious.
He indeed was a real person, but he was NEVER called Jesus.........
Every other thing of him is HID, even his Body, that body he walked the earth in was consumed in the tomb, by the Angel that rolled back the Stone.
That Angel was the same Angel that walked in that body, that body was made to be SIN, and he is returning to destroy SIN and there after was seen first by Mary in his resurrected spiritual body appearing to her AS a Gardener ( pointing back to Adam who was a Gardener and when Adam rose from his deep sleep, there was Eve standing there, a Women: Thus MUST Mary be standing there to see him as a Gardener, but this is all in a VISION as it was all seen of Moses in a VISION who wrote of it in Genesis. )
This is part of the problem with Ministers : Rightly dividing the physical from the spiritual and that be due to the fact that they don't understand FULFILL, if the did, they would know to go back in the scriptures and see : Fulfill WHAT, and fulfill HOW and fulfill WHERE.
When they can catch on to that, then what they say and teach will be PROFOUND, no one can gainsay or resist.

Christ Blessing
Why did our blessed Lord Jesus Christ by going down into the place of death, sweetened the bitter waters for?
us?
Why did our blessed Lord Jesus Christ by going down into the place of death, sweetened the bitter waters for?
Us?
"And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah. And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink? And he cried unto the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet."—Exodus 15:23-25.
There is nothing like seeing how bitterness in our hearts can be transformed into the sweetest song of music when we begin to understand in the depths of our hearts all that Jesus gave to us! Many times we fail to consider our immaturity in Christ. Somehow we, as the children of God, are so much like those who came out of Egypt. Just being freed from the slavery of their ruler ` The Pharaoh was not wonderful for the Israelites
` nor is sin for us! We become new creatures, but begin as infants! All newly freed slaves are enthusiastic when someone has conquered their enemy! Our Spiritual journey, is meant to be one of growth with love and joy, and God does allow us hardships, and sufferings to strenghten and prepare us. When hardships and trials come our way brother, we must not allow bitterness to change our waters. Christ is that which brings in sweetness of life! He brings all that into this temple! How we cry, when we don't see what happens to us, meant for our downfall, God means for our good when we overcome, all that is bad with HIM! We create much bitterness in self when we sleep and fail to grow! Perhaps it is because, we don't see yet all that God is doing! Why he has allowed us our bitter pools! There is nothing like having the Word of God open to us the blindness we have within and to cast his light intothose dark shadows residing in our hearts! He gives us oceans of water, the sweet kinds! Into our bitter wells! The places where the light of God, has not yet walked into and cast it's light! My faith in him testifies to this! Jesus promised us new life, and somehow we all can drown in bitterness. Jesus has been cast inside of us. And when we begin to understand in newness more of his creational acts in us, well now, we view the chastisements of our lives differently. Hardship is a must if we are to know The Living God. We enter the promised land through Christ, and as we see how the intent of God works in us, we move closer and closer into all that God deems important for us. We begin to want all the transformations, in gladness of Spirit for we know his hands are actively creating in us, all the fruit of Spirit and there is peace in this finally! As we surrender in grace all that we are, which belong to him! Seeing the glory of Christ, and the glory of the Living God! The loveliness of God, graced us long before we knew! He is the provision, the protector, the comforter and the one who sweetens our waters inside, so that many can drink from us ~ his life! Sweet indeed! Without murmurings, with renewed faith, this is what causes us to mount up as Eagles, to sour with the flight of angels...This Spirit is found in Jesus who comforts us, who changes the conditions of our hearts. Who asks us what condition our condition is? And who is willing to come inside and refresh us!
When one looks into this story, we see that in a matter of three days, the joy was turned into murmurings for the Israelites. What a change from the sound of music previously heard by God! The maidens quit dancing…and the peoples of Moses began to scream…what shall we drink? Quick on the heels of light we see the darkness followed the children of God, and though these ones were freed, they were still cast to and fro by the storms within their hearts. Frantic for water, is a real need in the deserts and wilderness of life! We need to understand something about the waters of our souls here brother that they indeed are bitter without Christ continuously being the water of life who does refresh us, and make our waters sweet again. Christ is the tree which God the Father cast into us, his children. This story is another picture for us to visualize our need for Christ to come in and change our inner waters, our conditions of heart, so that we become sweet in the Spirit of the Lord.
We can’t create the light or the heavens, only God can! Although we are freed from sin, we still will walk through the evils of the wilderness in this life. The Israelites were freed and very early in this journey towards the Promised Land. Scarcely hatched, so to speak, and they did not anticipate the trials they would face in the wilderness of the desert. And God deemed it necessary to teach them to not murmur but to look to him and allow him to give us living waters that are sweet. To touch and stir living waters in us is to receive Christ into us! As the tree of life! Wow hey???
When we come to our Marah’s we need to find and discover all the sweetness of Christ. You know the Israelites compared this bitter water, and thought back to the waters of the Nile, rather than to ask God, for his help! Moses cried for them, and God provided. It is better for us, to die at Marah, than to go back to our Niles… which represents Satan and the world of sin. It does not matter what trials we go through, what hardships, we must centre on Christ, and then we will not wander away from the sweet water which transforms our souls from bitterness to sweetness found only in Christ. What the Israelites failed to see, is that God would test them, and chastise in love. They failed to see that evils come in varied shapes, they thought their trials were over, but did not understand ~ it had only changed its shape! They were no sooner across the Red Sea, and they found bitterness in the waters! But when the tree was cast into the waters… well it was drinkable and saved their lives. In and of ourselves we can find no drinkable water is the point to this part of scripture. Water is necessary for us to live, it is a necessity, and if we want the best of life, to drink in the very essence that is vital to all of our parts, it is found in Christ. When water comes up from the sand, it is brackish, when water comes from heaven it is purified, and gives us everything that quenches our thirst
These verses also reflect much light Raphael, into the areas of our maturity in Christ, and show us God will give us the privileges of being chastised, so that he can come in and touch us and be our Most HIGH! He is our Deliverer truly! God is always ready to renew the bond with us, to give us the Sounds of Music, to take us from a heart condition which is bitter, full of murmurings, back to Jesus, who is the giver of Spiritual blessings…found only in him! Whatever our wilderness is, whether we have deep pains, deep mourning’s, afflictions in every shape, or new shapes…. Jesus is the tree we are to have in our bitter waters. In our walk, we must know, God will provide life giving waters always, with the sweetest of trees, Jesus. Whatever causes bitterness in us must be turned over to God, so that He can cast His tree of life into. So much happens in our walk to remind us that God is in control, and that he will always, always, make provision for us through his son… Jesus! WE can’t draw water from bitterness, there is no Spiritual life found on the earth, but only in Christ.
Great question! When everything is wrong, when bitterness begins to happen, visit Marah and remember … How God gave us the Tree which sweetens our waters…
Psalm 2:12…Kiss the son, lest He become angry with you, and you perish in the way, For His wrath many soon be kindled. How blest are those who take refuge in him!
There is nothing like a firecracker to wake us up??? Nothing like the right water at the right time, either!!! Or the right word at the right time!! Reading the Word of God, is the way to the Water! Amen! This fair maiden will Dance with a newer song, coming from a newness in maturity, with more joy and Spiritual strength, for the Lord has sweetened my waters... And given me newness of life, and light found within! Such a blessing this question is for this is the transforming grace of the Lord Jesus Christ!
The number three here too, in these verses... so relevant to see all that was accomplished on that cross, that tree! LOL with the greatness of joy! )

Christ Pantocrator

Holy Prepuce? Where is it? Did, Jesus get it back?
This is a serious question.
The Catholic church celebrates the "Feast of the Circumcision" on January 1 every year.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
11th-century Icon of Christ Pantocrator. The Holy Prepuce, or Holy Foreskin (Latin præputium) is one of several relics purported to be associated with Jesus. At various points in history, a number of churches in Europe have claimed to possess it, sometimes at the same time. Various miraculous powers have been ascribed to it.
When Jesus was retored on Sunday and his body completely Resurrrected, was his foreskin restored along with His dead brain cells and the open wounds?
If his foreskin was restored, how did his baby sized one fit his adult body?
If you went to Heaven where no one wears any clothes, and you met Jesus tomorrow, would he have his foreskin?
"Feast of the Circumcision"???????!!!!!!!
yuck.
What exactly is consumed at the Feast of the Circumcision?

Nativity Christ
do muslims believe in the symbolic nativity of Christ as they celebrate the birth of mohammad?
because many muslims put more importance to mohammad and they forget Jesus because they know Jesus is love and mohammad didn't teach love for your enemies? is that right? and Jesus was never in battles.. he was against the death penality and wars.. I am a catholic christian and I respect Islam but I disagree they believe in jesus but not in his gospel because they said it's corrupted how corrupted only because of the trinity but his moral teachings are similar to other religions.. no|?
that's not true the message is Universal. Jesus said to make apostles around the world.
The Message is universal. The problem is trying to carve off all the clergy additions and recover their subractions to get the message. Despite what the hadiths say and scholars have said, here's what Muhammad followed.
3:133, 134
Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden whose width is that (of the whole) of the heavens and of the earth, prepared for the righteous,
Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men;- for Allah loves those who do good
About war, fighting, killing -
60:7-9
It may be that Allah will grant love (and friendship) between you and those whom ye (now) hold as enemies. For Allah has power (over all things); And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes, from dealing kindly and justly with them: for Allah loveth those who are just.
Allah only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes, and support (others) in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). It is such as turn to them (in these circumstances), that do wrong.
Also, you don't find the death penalty for homosexuals, adulterers, fornincators or apostates in the Qur'an.
As for the differences between the Prophets in importance, any muslim would make a mistake in preferring one to another...
2:285
The Messenger believeth in what hath been revealed to him from his Lord, as do the men of faith. Each one (of them) believeth in Allah, His angels, His books, and His apostles. "We make no distinction (they say) between one and another of His apostles." And they say: "We hear, and we obey: (We seek) Thy forgiveness, our Lord, and to Thee is the end of all journeys."
Last thing...celebrating birthdays at all isn't a muslim tradition.
