Beads Rosary Japa
Did the Catholic rosary originate in India?
The Buddhist rosary consists of 108 beads. Even the old name of the Christian rosarium is an imitation of the Buddhist rosary. The Sanskrit japa-mâlâ, a garland for recitation, was taken as a japâ-mâlâ, a garland of roses. The “original” reading is, of course, japa, not japâ.
Some seem to be saying that it originated in Shinar, ancient Babylon, with the religions they had there under Semiramis and Nimrod.

Petals Rosary
Catholics - Is there any significance behind...?
...rosaries made from rose petals as opposed to those made from glass or plastic beads? Or is it simply a novelty item?
There is an order of nuns, sorry don't remember exactly, that makes rosary beads out of roses. Some families take roses from a funeral to the sisters to be made into a rosary as a way of remembering a deceased relative.

Crucifix Crystal
Who was MacArthur quoting when he gave the "Old Soldiers" speech?
*****
puhfuzit!
and a meager spark from his wand…
the Wizard waves around his arms…
but brings to nothing, fright or harm…
he casts a spell, but it snags…
his glowing blue-bright robes…
turn to rags...
his magical, fantastical toad…
won’t explode…
clouded?
crystal ball he’s rubbed opaque…
and fairy dust, he’s ground to powder…
his incantations spoken louder…
in search of God, and man’s mistakes…
predicting flood, famine and quake…
his silver Christ on crucifix…
and wooden stake…
his artifacts…
*****
MacArthur was quoting from a barrack ballad called "Old Soldiers Never Die" :
"Old soldiers never die,
Never die, never die,
Old soldiers never die
They just fade away."

Bead Wicca
does anyone have a pagan or Wicca hearagram bead pattern?
I am very sorry for you narrow minded christians. I am a christian also, but can appreciate the freedom of religion we supposedly enjoy here in the USA. I do beaded jewelry and would like to make a heartagram necklace or earings. sheesh sorry I joined this group.
A heartogram is not an original Pagan or Wiccan symbol. The Band HIM made up the symbol from two symbols. The Heart which in Wiccan symbology is a sign of love and happiness and the inverted pentagram which is a magickal symbol that does not stand for death, instead it is used mainly for protection and knowledge acquirement. Frequently in traditional covens, it is used to symbolize the second degree witch.
The band HIM who is a self proclaimed love metal band created the symbol to express their connection with love and death. The inverted pentagram is not a symbol of death.

Black Tourmaline
How do you ground yourself after performing "Spiritual sessions"?
I find it rather difficult to ground after performing Reiki sessions and even deep meditations, I have used crystals (like tigers eye, bloodstone, black tourmaline and smokey quatz to balance and ground but I still feel like I'm floating on cloud 9, any other suggestions?
Is this a problem?
Just opening my eyes is all it takes for me. The nonsense that I see brings me down rather quickly.
Love and blessings Don
