If you are in NC you have several options - depending on where you are. There are some wonderful bead shops in Raleigh, and Durham and Charlotte. If you are really West, then you have a wealth available in Asheville. If you are Down East (Go Pirates!) then there is a nice bead shop in Little Washington.
You will get a decent selection of choices at AC Moore, and Michaels Craft stores. If you are near a Jo Annes they also carry a decent selection. (All of these chains carry sewing, embroidery, and beading supplies. -- look for the mill Hills in the embroidery section though) I know the little stars are at AC Moore.
If you are out in the rural areas and can't get to a big place -- you should try going to

ShipWreck is a store that doesn't have any businesses in NC -- but if you are looking for a specific Bead Type (Like Delicas or ToHos) you will be able to find them at the other places.

Don't forget there are several big bead shows coming up in NC this month and next -- Raleigh State Fair ground, Durham, Charlotte and Greensboro are all scheduled to have shows either June or July. If you like to do beadwork, a bead show is something to not miss!!
