How come the rosary in Catholicism has so many prayers dedicated to the blessed virgin Mary?
but none devoted to our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ?
The Rosary is a meditation on events in the lives of Jesus and Mary. The Joyful Mysteries are about Christ's birth and early years. The Luminous Mysteries deal with His ministry, and the Sorrowful Mysteries are about His Crucifixion. The Glorious Mysteries cover His Resurrection, Ascension, the Descent of the Holy Spirit, the Assumption of Mary, and her Coronation.
The prayers are: The Apostles' Creed, the "Our Father," "Hail, Mary," "Glory be," and "Oh my Jesus." As we are meditating, we greet Mary with the Angelic Salutation which God Himself placed on the lips of the Archangel Gabriel, and we ask her to pray for us now and at the hour of our death.
So as you can see, your statement that "none (are) devoted to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" is blatantly false. The entire focus of the Rosary is to bring us closer to Christ by thinking about all that He did for us and to apply those lessons to our own lives.
I seriously doubt that you'll be fair enough to give a Catholic "Best Answer," but at least we can say that we tried to educate you about the Rosary and its prayers. FYI: you now know the truth, so if you continue to repeat lies, you will be slandering your Catholic brothers and sisters in Christ AND lying about the Catholic Faith.
Don't think for a second that God will be pleased about either one.
