When did the fatima prayer become common in rosary recitation?
I understand from EWTN's website that it's OPTIONAL per Pius XII, but I can't find a church encyclical or document that refers to this. Does anyone know? Serious answers, please...

after 1918 the prayers started to spread with the growth of popularity of fatima and the apparation was approved fairly soon after (before WWII) and became very popular after WWII and in the early Cold War
Jesus,(Mat26"44)prayed repeatively and repeatedly
the emphasis is on VAIN or empty. I find repeating prayers like "Jesus" very fulfilling and meaningful
I love the rosary and i get much out of it
The Angels in Heaven in Rev4:8pray repetively day and night or unceassingly
I also use the rosary beads(Dominican) topray the Chaplet of mercy, the Kyrie, Christ is Risen and Veni ,Sancte Spiritus
