Did God send Jesus as a miraculous birth from Mary to show the Jews that he was not an imposter or fake ?
Before the coming of Jesus several hundreds of Prophes were killed -- by the rebellious ones accusing them of posing as Prophets........
Jesus was to be their last chance Prophet for redemption and forgiveness(Messiah) and if they accepted his message they would all be forgiven for their rebellion and killing of Gods blessed Prophets.
Prophethood was shifted out from the Israelites after they even denied Jesus.
Did God show so many miracles through Jesus so nobody could have a doubt about his Prophethood and connection to GOD ?

--YES IT seems to be one of the reasons for him to truly to be recognized as the true messiah!
--ALSO THE birth of Jesus as a real human(not super human) would be necessary for him to die for mankind as a perfect human as a ransom.
--THE REASON that God & his Son Christ showed such a judgement against the religious leaders in Jesus day, is that they totally denied that Jesus miracles were proof that Jehovah God sent him!
--There were other ways they ignored his coming such as the chronological prophecy of the messiah being annointed after the period of time referred to as the representitive "70 weeks of years" (Dan. 9:24-27) which was fulfilled in 29 C.E. at his baptism.
--Many of the Jews were able to tabulate this time of 490 years,(John the Baptizers preaching also helped to emphasize this) but just about everyone of the religious leaders still denied his being the messiah!
