I want to frame my tapestry... any suggestions?
I have an old world map tapestry hanging above my bed with a tapestry rod but it looks really dull. I don't have a headboard to my bed so I was hoping it would bring the room together a little more. Everything in my room is a dark espresso wood. I was thinking that if I framed the tapestry in a espresso wood frame it would look a lot better. The problem is I can't find a frame that will work. Has anyone ever tried this? The tapestry is 56" x 40".

I really want just a plain wooden frame, nothing too fancy.

Get any kind of trim to your liking, cut to size at 45 degree angle and paint .
