The Pope blessed Ground Zero - what does that mean?
Does it mean it's a holy place? If so, what does a holy place mean? By blessing, does it mean that he just says a prayer for the 9/11 victims? But thousands of others have prayed for 9/11 victims, is theirs not a blessing like the Pope's?
I'm not Catholic, so please take my response with a grain of salt, but I suspect that in so doing, he made Ground Zero into a properly-blessed burial site, along with simply praying for peace.
