Does anyone else here have a devotion to the Blessed Mother Mary?
If yes, tell me what your relationship with her is like and how you act on your devotion.
I myself wear the brown scapular at all times and say at least three Hail Mary's a day (I am currently saying Seven Hail Mary's a day for the seven sorrows of Mary. Look up Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and Our Lady of Sorrows for more details.)
Catholics don't think Mary is a deity. She is many things but there is only one God.
I think Mary was a wonderful woman. She must have been something for God to choose her. However she was a Human. She may be blessed, but it would be wrong for me after reading the Lord's Word to worship or Pray to anyone other than my heavenly father. I believe that she, as probably the first actual Christian, is up in the heavens, but I think she is much saddened by the fact that people are going against God's wishes and commandments and worshipping Humans.
